Educational support to help your child Thrive.

Educational support to help neurodiverse learners Thrive

Thrive Learning Co is more than an academic support service—it's a compassionate, strengths-based learning experience built around the belief that all brains are brilliant. We specialize in working with neurodivergent learners by honoring the ways they naturally think, communicate, process, and succeed.

A neurodiverse-affirming approach

We work with students whose strengths and challenges often don’t fit within traditional school structures. Instead of trying to “fix” or “normalize” them, we teach students how to understand their own learning styles and use strategies that work with their brain, not against it.

About Me

My name is Samantha Fried, M.A., and I’m the founder of Thrive Learning Co.

I was diagnosed with multiple learning differences as an adult, following a long personal journey through schooling, motherhood, and self-discovery. That turning point gave me clarity, compassion, and purpose. I returned to school, completed my bachelor’s degree, and later earned my master’s in Educational Psychology, where I researched diverse learning profiles and project-based learning.

My Education & Professional Background

I bring a diverse and deeply informed background to my work with neurodivergent learners. My professional experience includes:

  • Public School Special Education Teaching
Working directly in public school classrooms supporting students with IEPs across a wide range of needs, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, writing individualized goals, implementing accommodations, using evidence-based instructional practices, and supporting students in both inclusion and resource settings.

  • Private school educator in a school specializing in learning differences
Supporting students with ADHD, autism, dyslexia, and executive functioning challenges in a therapeutic, flexible, and student-centered environment.

  • Academic and Executive Function Coach
Coaching elementary, middle, and high school students in organization, planning, emotional regulation, and academic independence.

  • IEP/504 Parent and Family Support
Helping families navigate eligibility, accommodations, school communication, and advocacy.

  • Mentorship and behavior support
Supporting students with ASD, ADHD, and emotional regulation needs using strengths-based, relationship-centered approaches.

This combination of public school special education, specialized private school experience, and individual coaching gives me a uniquely comprehensive perspective on how to support neurodivergent learners across environments.

I know firsthand what it means to learn differently—and I am committed to ensuring every learner feels seen, understood, and capable.
